Main objective
The RIPSEC program wishes to contribute to the strengthening of the health system of the DRC for a more equitable management of the health of the population with a view to universal health coverage.
To this end, it aims to strengthen the expertise of the beneficiary institution, the School of Public Health of the University of Lubumbashi, and its national partners in the development of health policy proposals, Teaching and research, with a view to optimal technical and strategic support, based on evidence. And support the different health authorities of the DRC in their role of improving the health of the population.
Specific objectives
Developing the capacity to manage health knowledge in the DRC through a Health Knowledge Center (Health Knowledge Center in the DRC, by the acronym CCSC);
Strengthen the scientific capacity of the Public Health Schools and the National Institute for Biomedical Research (INRB) in the DRC for health research and education;
Strengthen the training capacity of the Public Health Schools by creating health zones demonstrating universal health coverage.
